Student Projects
NABJ students and professionals will be working in a converged newsroom at the UNITY 08 Convention, July 23- 27. The UNITY website will be the main hub for distribution for all student-generated content and the primary source of news and information about the convention. The project will generate a newspaper, produce audio features and short television newscasts. While generating content, students get training in video, audio production, webcasting, podcasting, and multimedia skills that are now key to building a solid resume. For over two decades, NABJ has supported its student members and the future of journalism by offering students an opportunity to cover our annual convention. These former students affectingly call themselves "NABJ Babies" because they believe that the association "raised" them as they started their careers. General Requirements:
Application Requirements:Applicants must send FOUR application packets containing the following in EACH packet listed in the order below.
USE ONE PAPER CLIP FOR EACH PACKET. ALL MATERIALS SHOULD BE ON 8.5 X 11 PAPER. DO NOT STAPLE, FOLD, BIND, OR PLACE IN FOLDERS. Incomplete packets will not be considered.
